Yes. Whispr runs as a local desktop app. Your audio is never uploaded or stored on our servers, and your transcript stays on your machine. The only thing sent to the AI model is the text needed to answer the current question. We don't track or profile you, and the code that handles your data is open to read.

Whispr's window appears on your display only. It isn't part of your screen share, so it doesn't show up in what you present to others on the call.

Whispr is built for interview preparation and for meetings you're a part of. Different settings have different rules, and some explicitly prohibit assistance. You are responsible for following the policies and laws that apply wherever you use it. We won't pretend otherwise.

Whispr is a Windows desktop app and listens to your system audio, so it works alongside Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and phone screens. More platforms are planned.
